Last night, I was watching this video on the people of the Bhutan. To my knowledge, this is not a “Christian” video. If you were to make a video of life here in the states, it would be very, very easy to make it without any information or “video shots” of life with Jesus. But in the Bhutan, Buddhism is the culture. As you can see, it is impossible to make a video of the people of the Bhutan without including Buddhism! The bottom line, these people need Jesus, and right now they have very little hope. There are some house churches, but these (according to my research on the country) must be hidden. There may be more freedom to worship Jesus in reality there, but I am reading that Buddhism tries to control that. Buddhism is supposed to be a “religion of peace”, but they are using the power and force of government to keep people from faith in Jesus!
This video is almost 30 minutes long and I don’t expect you to watch the whole thing. But if you will just watch a few minutes, I believe God will move you to prayer for these lost people. On a side note, they do have beautiful scenic landscapes. What are you going to do to help these lost people in Bhutan? Will you pray for them?
